No. Every integration is read-only. For MetaTrader 4/5 we use the investor password, which is a separate password your broker provides specifically for read-only access. cTrader uses OAuth with read-only scopes. Bybit and OANDA use API tokens that you generate with read-only permissions inside the broker. We literally cannot trade on your account.
Yes. When you first connect an account, Auto-Sync does a one-time backfill that pulls your full closed-trade history from the broker. For most brokers this covers as far back as their API will return - typically years of history. The backfill runs in the background so you can keep using the app.
The MetaTrader investor password does not expire. cTrader, Bybit and OANDA may occasionally need to be reconnected - cTrader OAuth sessions can expire after long inactivity, and Bybit / OANDA tokens follow whatever expiry you set when creating them on the broker side. When this happens, you will see a warning badge on the account in Settings and reconnecting takes under a minute.
Sync failures (broker maintenance, API rate limits, network blips) are retried automatically. If a sync fails repeatedly, you will see a warning on the affected account in Settings with the specific error - most often it just means re-authorising the connection.
Yes. The account limit follows whichever plan you are on - up to 2 accounts on Basic and up to 10 on Pro - and that limit also applies during the free trial of each plan. MetaTrader has its own limits per plan (1 on Basic, 2 on Pro). You can mix prop firm, personal, demo and crypto accounts freely, and filter the app to any single account or any combination.
